Here are our 5 tips for a successful bathroom remodel
1. Select the right tub. When it comes to bathtubs, there are so many styles, shapes, sizes, and features. If a nice quality tub is at the top of your list I suggest selecting this as soon as possible since this could also have a huge impact on your project cost. Free-standing tubs can range from $700- $10k +
2. Shower Glass can make the space feel larger and add a nice clean element. However, it could add up in price depending on the size and mounting needs. It can also be high maintenance to clean.
3. Pick your tile wisely! The tile should be timeless and classic. I like to pick simple and minimalistic tiles that will look good for the next 10-15 years. Then to add some personality we can add an accent tile in the shower niches or maybe a fun wallpaper on the walls
4. Storage. How much storage do you need? Maybe you do not have enough or maybe you have a small bathroom. The best thing to do is consult a cabinet designer. You can do wonders with custom cabinets to maximize storage space.
5. Tile Underlayment - Consult your tile installer or contractor about the types of waterproofing systems they are using. This is very important to protect and waterproof your bathroom.
