Are you ready to book an interior designer, or thinking of booking one? Here are three things to help guide you well you make that decision.
Go Green[ery]
As we find ourselves somehow already in the middle of March, we at MDG are welcoming with open arms Greenery, the Pantone color of the year for 2017. The yellow-y green color is the exact shade of green Otter Pops, of limes in Coronas, of the baby grass popping up in our front yards. Leatrice Eiseman, the executive director of Pantone color consulting, says Greenery fills us with "the hope we collectively yearn for amid a complex social and political landscape. [It] symbolizes the re-connection we seek with nature, one another and a larger purpose."
Because of its inspiration, it's no coincidence that Greenery is so versatile either. The tone seems to go with every color combination under the sun. We're seeing it with neutral colors, natural materials, juicy brights, and pale pastels, small splashes, big doses and in every room of the house. We've gathered some of our favorite ways to add some Greenery to a home. Check them out below.
